Please note no alcoholic drinks may be consumed on premises and therefore the hall is unsuitable for some social gatherings including parties.
No adult or teenage parties- children birthday tea parties welcome.Times for parties- Saturdays 1pm-6pm slots available.Some Sunday slots-similar times.
No smoking, no alcohol to be served.
Purley Quaker Meeting House was 100 years old in 2009. This beautiful Arts and Crafts hall is available for hire at a reasonable rate from £40 per 3 hour weekday session for regular users ( our minimum charge), other rates, including regular Saturdays sessions, on request.
Saturday rates for acceptable regular 3 hr slots are higher than weekday rates. Daily year-round users may be offered a special rate.
Enquiries especially welcome from nurseries and playgroups, community groups and therapists.

The Premises
- There is a wood panelled and floored main hall with chairs stored separately for up to 35. We also have several Go-Pak tables.
- The lobby area is pleasant and welcoming and can be used with the main hall.
- Large bright kitchen, 2 cookers, 2 sinks, fridge, microwave.
- Changing/storage room in basement, 2 cloakrooms.
- The premises are warm and welcoming and are surrounded by pretty gardens.
- Committee room for group meetings and lectures seats up to 15 available for separate hire.
- Currently, we have availability for regular users in the day and evening.Rates on request.
- Suitable for regular users such as arts and drama, dance, lectures, music, counselling, childcare and other use. Also clubs, societies and committee meetings.
- Outside there is a small specialist paved play area, and large fully locking outside gates to ensure complete safety.
Ideal if you require hall hire in the Croydon and Purley area serving the area of Sanderstead, Riddlesdown, Purley Oaks, Selsdon, South Croydon, Whyteleafe and Kenley.
